There has been a lot of debate about whether it is practical to use walkers for babies to help them learn more dexterity and to start taking their first real steps by themselves sooner, rather than later. However, recently walkers have been banned in countries like Canada, simply because there have been a number of accidents with them. This is why I was hesitating to buy one for my own child, as I thought I would be putting him in danger if I put him into one of these things. However, I discovered two things, the first and most important thing was that walkers really don’t help your child learn to take their first steps any faster, and the other was that babies were having accidents in walkers, because of neglect, not really the products themselves. So I decided not to get a walker because it really wasn’t worth it if it wasn’t going to benefit my boy at all.

Now that I have a daughter of my own I have to start learning all about toy baby dolls, and since I am a guy, I grew up playing with such things as He-man and G.I. Joe’s. I knew all about the different balls that my sister had played with, such as rainbow bright and strawberry shortcake. However, when I went to the toy store to look at all of the different dolls out today, my head literally started to spin. That is when I decided to just pick out one of the dolls, and just hope that my daughter liked it. When I brought it home, she instantly fell in love with it, and started to play with it. While I figured that she probably would have liked and doll that I would have picked out, I decided that the next time it would probably be better to just take her along to pick out the dolls that she liked.
